About Judaism

Judaism is an ancient, nearly extinct religion important mainly because it spawned two of the largest religions of the post-Roman era, Islam and Christianity. Judaism, in particular its emphasis on the analysis of scripture and of real ethical dilemmas, also made a large contribution to modern, non-religious philosophy and culture.

Information on Judaism is readily available. We mainly refer to aspects of Judaism here when making religious and philosophical critiques.
