The banality and horror of Suburbia. Arrested development effects tragedy for various thirty somethings. With Kate Winslet and Jennifer Connelly.

I had a hard time accepting Ms. Connelly as a cold distant wife, but once again she carries it off.

This film features Ms. Winslet opposite Patrick Wilson as illicit lovers. The themes are male bravado, obsessive fear and hate, and the longing to escape the mundane and retrieve our youth.

I loved this movie, there are several hilarious scenes and it has the weight and feel of great films like, “American Beauty” and “The Ice Storm”. Enough said, if I were to tell you more I’d blow the fun!
