John Quincy Adams was the 6th President of the United States of America. Born on July 11, 1767, he was the son of President John Adams. He became President on March 4, 1825 and finished his term on March 4, 1829. When elected President he was a member of the Democratic-Republican Party, which was in the process of disolving.
